Beating the winter red nose
by Allison Browning
It’s bad enough that it’s freezing cold but must we endure a honker of a red nose? This horrid condition seems to be part and parcel of the winter time sniffles. Hold your head high as your reach for your Aloe infused tissue (they have been a god send!). Your nose need not be red any longer.
I have a couple of cheeky tricks to prevent the unbecoming rosy chapped nose. The old fashioned method is good old lanolin from the Pharmacy. Pop a lashing of this on overnight and Bob’s your Uncle- you will have one happy honker!
The other lavish option is to use L’Occitane Shea butter it’s the perfect savior for anything -great for hands and cuticles! This comes in two sizes and the small one is great to stow in your hand bag.
